The Talons Men’s Golf Team competed in two events in four days to kick off the spring 2025 season.

First off, the team traveled to Deer Valley Golf Club in Deer Valley, Illinois, on Friday, April 11, to compete in the Skyhawk Spring Classic, which saw over 65 golfers participate.

The competition was filled with skilled teams and future-ranked programs, providing our team with valuable experience. Our Talons demonstrated determination and poise in their first competition in the spring season, finishing 12th in the event.

Despite the challenging results, each player showcased perseverance and commitment to our program. Wyatt Marshall led the Talons, finishing with a score of 79.

On Monday, April 14, the team headed to the Randall Oaks Golf Club in West Dundee, Illinois, for the Judson University Men's Invite, where Marshall again led the team, finishing 32nd out of 125 golfers.

Next up, the team heads to the Nettie Creek Golf Course in Morris, Illinois, to compete in host Joliet Junior College's Melee in Morris, on Tuesday, April 22.
