Talons Fight Hard Against Carl Sandburg College, Lose 64-55

The Talons Men’s Basketball team hosted the Carl Sandburg College Chargers on Saturday in a hard-fought matchup at the Public Safety Center on the Beloit-Janesville Campus. Despite keeping it close throughout, the Talons fell 64-55.

The Chargers took an early lead with a tough zone defense, but the Talons made key adjustments, forcing the Chargers into a man-to-man defense as the game progressed.

Top performers for the Talons were Aiden Maves with 14 points, Logan Branch with 12 points and Kaden Williams with 11 points.

Next up, the Talons hit the road to take on the Bryant & Stratton College JV Bobcats on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m.
