Background:

  • From Madison; played basketball and football at Madison West High School and Madison College.
  • Played semi-pro football before transitioning to coaching.

Talons Men Secure First Win of the Season

The Talons Men's Basketball team picked up its first win of the season Monday night with an impressive 105-67 win at home over UW-Platteville at Baraboo.

Five Talons players scored in double figures with top scorer Kolin Vance scoring 20 points. Kai Bickham contributed 19 points (and five three-pointers), Aiden Maves had 16 points, 11 rebounds and 6 steals, Kaden Williams scored 14 points, and Corey Antoine finished with 11 points. Lee Lane finished with a game-high 7 assists and Elijah Jenkins had 6 assists.

Coming up, the Talons have four games in seven days, including two home games:

  • Dec. 4 at DME Academy @ 6:15 p.m.
  • Dec. 5 vs Rockford University JV (home) @ 6 p.m.
  • Dec. 7 at UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield @ 1 p.m.
  • Dec. 11 vs Bryant & Stratton College JV (home) @ 6:15 p.m.

The team's home games, played at the Public Safety Center on our Beloit-Janesville Campus, will also be available via livestream at athletics.blackhawk.edu/livestream.
