Talons Clay Target Shooting Team Begins Spring Competition

The Talons Clay Target Shooting Team began its spring competition with four returning team members and three new members. This year’s team includes:
- Gregory Bryant, Freshman, Janesville
- Nolan Dallman, Freshman, Milton
- Braunson Dietzman, Freshman, Beloit
- Andy Pollock, Freshman, Oregon
- Teygen Riley-Ochsner, Freshman, Monroe
- Jillian Schue, Freshman, Edgerton
- Nick Stokstad, Freshman, Albany
“We are trying to improve our shooting techniques and scores every day,” said Tim Rockhold, Clay Target Shooting Coach.
The team, which practices at the Janesville Conservation Club, is also looking forward to exploring the purchase of a simulator to provide additional practice without significantly adding to the annual budget.
Competition began the week of April 6, with the regular season running through the week of May 4. Following the first week of competition, the team holds down seventh place out of the eight teams in its conference.
