Talons Pick Up Second Win of Season With 62-61 Win Over Rockford University Regents

The Blackhawk Talons Men's Basketball team took its second win in three games, 62-61, over the visiting Rockford University Regents JV team on Thursday.

In a back-and-forth game with multiple lead changes, the Regents were down by three points when they took a last-second shot and got fouled at the end of regulation. Going to the line with three free throw opportunities, the Regents missed the third, resulting in a Talons win.

Top performers for the Talons were Kolin Vance with 17 points and Lee Lane with 9 points and 6 assists.

The Talons head to UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield for a game at 1 p.m. Saturday before returning home to host Bryant & Stratton Bobcats JV team at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. A livestream of Wednesday's game will be available at athletics.blackhawk.edu/livestream.
