Get To Know Dylan Bongle, IT Department Intern

Gaining experience is the main reason Dylan Bongle, a dual-credit student at Rock University High School and Blackhawk, wanted to work with the IT department at Blackhawk’s Beloit-Janesville Campus this summer through the Rock Internship Program.

The Milton native hopes to learn more about working with servers and networks, the area of IT that interests him most.

After he graduates from RUHS in 2026, Dylan plans to complete his last semester of college and begin searching for a full-time job. He wants to work in IT for a while, but eventually, he’d like to return to college and earn a degree in Quantum Mechanics.

Now, a few weeks into the internship, Dylan has been learning a lot.

“I knew very little in the beginning, but as of now, I know how most of our IT department functions,” he said.
