Talons Bowlers Compete in Appleton Tournament

The Talons Bowling team competed in the Great Lakes Bowling Conference Tournament IV in Appleton over the weekend. Despite placing 21st out of 21 teams, our bowlers had some great individual standings out of 163 bowlers:

• Donaven Merritt – 35th place (972 pins, 194 avg.)
• Karson Schumacher – 54th place (913 pins, 182 avg.)
• Makenna Barry – 98th place (773 pins, 154 avg.)

Bowling Season Standings: The Talons placed 20th out of 21, earning 7 out of 36 points. Competing short-handed for most of the season, the team showed resilience and gave 100% every step of the way. Out of 229 bowlers, Karson Schumacher placed 49th overall (3,467 pins, 173 avg.), Donaven Merritt placed 69th overall (3,321 pins, 166 avg.), and Makenna Barry placed 91st overall (2,875 pins, 143 avg.).
