Image

The Talons Clay Target Shooting team wrapped up its season with another improved conference team score of 212.

Nolan Dallman scored another perfect round of 25, followed by a 23 for a total of 48 for the week. Gregory Bryant, a graduating team member who has competed in both seasons for the team, finished with a total of 43. Tegan Riley-Ochsner had his best weekly score of the season with 42, while Andy Pollock contributed 41 and Braunson Dietzman ended up with 38.

The team placed seventh out of the eight teams in its conference and Jillian Schue ended the season ranked 10th among female competitors in the conference.

Coach Tim Rockhold is proud of the team's performance this season.

"As a team, our score improved weekly, which gives testament to the resolve of our individual shooters to work on their skills to make them better marksmen," he said. "The character and teamwork of this squad made it a joy to coach."

The team will have several openings for the fall season. Students interested in joining the team can contact Coach Rockhold at trockhold@blackhawk.edu.
