Talons Clay Target Shooting Team Heads into Final Weekend of Competition

Image

The Talons Clay Target Shooting Team completed its penultimate week of competition with a score of 210, slightly improving over the previous week.

The Talons, who increased their lead over the University of Southern Indiana by 40 points, are just under 40 points behind Mid Michigan College in the standings, a deficit the team hopes to make up this week.

The week’s top performer, Nolan Dallman, completed a perfect round to take 48 out of 50 maximum points, while Gregory Bryant continues to lead the team with a strong 22.25/25 average. New members Andy Pollock and Braunson Dietzman both scored over 40 targets this week, and Jillian Schue continues to rank among the top 10 females in the conference.

Coach Tim Rockhold hopes the team can improve their score of 210 in the final week of competition to end the season on a high note and build on that foundation in the fall.

"This season has been marked by success from returning and new squad members alike and has been a very productive season for us all," Rockhold said.
