Sports Roundup: Week of Sept. 14

Women’s Volleyball

Blackhawk Technical College’s women’s volleyball team hosted Bryant & Stratton College at home in the Public Safety Center on Sept. 18. The Talons came up short, losing to the Bobcats 15-25, 16-25, 9-25.

The team is on the road this week. On Tuesday, Sept. 22, the Talons take on Highland Community College in Freeport, Illinois. Then on Friday, Sept. 25, they face College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois.

Men’s Golf

The men compete at the Clash at the Creek on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris, Illinois. 

Women’s Golf

The women’s golfers also compete at the Clash at the Creek on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
