Talons Sports Roundup for Week of Dec. 29: Men’s Basketball Loses at Home

Men’s Basketball

The men’s basketball team hosted Bryant and Stratton at home on Jan. 3. Athletic Director Nile Finney, who coached the game, shared some stats:

• Kwame Hawkins was the top scorer with 28 points and made five of five three-point shots.
• Jeremiyah McAllister added 20 points and seven rebounds. 

The Talons played a competitive game but lost 91-73.

The next matchup is Tuesday, Jan. 6, when they play South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. On Saturday, Jan. 10, they will travel to Madison to take on Madison College.

Women’s Basketball

The next game for the women is Tuesday, Jan. 6, when they visit South Suburban College in South Holland. They also play Madison College on Saturday, Jan. 10.
