Talons Sports Roundup for Week of Nov. 10: Men's, Women's Basketball Teams Lose

Men’s Basketball

On Saturday, Nov. 15, the varsity Talons traveled to Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. The Cyclones beat the Talons 89-79.

The men travel to Kishwaukee Community College in Malta, Illinois, on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Then, on Saturday, Nov. 22, they host Waubonsee Community College at home.

The junior varsity team beat DME Academy in Delafield, Wisconsin, on Nov. 11 with a score of 88-74. Coach AJ Wilson commended Alijah Poe and Kai Bickham for outstanding effort during the game.

Women’s Basketball

The Talons Women's Basketball team played at Elgin Community College in Elgin, Illinois, on Tuesday, Nov. 11. They fell to the Spartans 54-84. 

Arrianna Eubanks scored 15 points and had four steals, Cassie Cooley netted 18 points and eight rebounds, and Shelbi Marx added 11.

Next up, the team travels to Kishwaukee Community College in Malta, Illinois, on Nov. 19 and plays Waubonsee Community College at home on Nov. 22.
