Talons Women’s Volleyball Wins Against Kishwaukee

The Talons Women’s Volleyball team played at Kishwaukee on Monday, taking a 3-1 win with matches of 25-20, 21-25, 25-21, and 25-12.

Americus Pomplun and Cassie Cooley contributed to the win with “amazing blocks and kills,” Coach Brandy Salonga shared.

The Talons, who are currently 7-5 overall  and 6-0 regionally, will compete in the Waubonsee Chiefs Tournament in Sugar Grove, Illinois, from Friday-Saturday, Sept. 19-20. On Friday, they will face Waubonsee at 11 a.m. and Sandburg at 1 p.m. On Saturday, the Talons face Highland at 9 a.m. and Sauk Valley at 11 a.m.
